I'm back!

Pardon my absence. It's been quite a while... been busy with internship, part time work, family, and myself for the pass 2 months.

Well, my internship ends on the 6th Sept. It was a great experience working with all the people in Bates 141 during the 14 weeks . I've been involve in so much event planning and event management. It really gave me a greater understanding of how an events works from the beginning till the end.

During these 3 and half months of internship, i barely got the chance to go back to hometown (Muar) due to the busy work schedule weekly. I was kinda sad and happy at the same time at the last day working in Bates 141. I was sad to leave those great ppl i've been working with for that period; and happy that it's finally over and i can take a break from the hectic work and go back to my hometown where the lifestyle there are much laid back compared to KL. That's about it for my internship.

Back to Muar was great, especially after so long since my last visit in may? or june? There's not much changes back in Muar except 1 thing. We've got a latest addition to the Ng's family - Isabell (my niece). She's just absolutely adorable, cute and loveable.

As u guys might know that my bro's shop - Orenhaus is short of man power cuz one of the salesman took a super long holiday and dunno when will he be back. So i helped him out at his shop for a while before the new semester start commencing on the 13th Oct.

So basically, i've been pretty busy during my absence. lolx..

Post effect of rock climbing

'Arghh....' my first reaction when i open my eyes this morning. I can feel my whole upper body aching from the post effect of 'intensive' rock climbing yesterday. Don't feel like waking up but still i drag my aching body out of the bed to get ready to work. Business hours of Orenhaus starts at 10am sharp. Took my time doing my daily routine (brush teeth, wash face, take bath n etc). Reach work place in time feeling so weak.

Then i found out the 'Good News' of the day. There's no heavy lifting and assembling of any furniture, just some 'promotional' work. Promotional work sound quite easy rite? There's a catch to it, which is to give out brochures in Subang Jaya area and putting up bunting in Kota Kemuning area. That also means lots of walking will be required, and i mean 'A LOT' cuz gotta go from car to car and people to people sometimes...

Basically, i've fully 'worked out' my upper body and lower body in these two days. Already feeling more muscular...hehe.

What i've done

What have i done these few days? Have i been preparing for the next subject (Brand Management & Comm Theory)? I ask myself, but i can't provide the proper answer. Obviously i haven't touch any textbook yet. Working is what i've been doing these few days, helping out at my bro's furniture showroom (Orenhaus, Kota Kemuning). I can say that although i've not been studying, but working in Orenhaus provide me other things to learn. From assembling all sorts of furniture (bed, desk, table, wardrobe and etc) to being a sales person. Well, sales this weekend had been quite good compared to other branches according to my bro. That's good news. I'm not the one who did the sales btw, hehe... most of the transactions made this weekend are done by the my bro's assistant (An'dre). Besides, being a professional salesman, he's also a very talented florist. Picture of those flower bouquets will be post in future(haven't take the pics).
