Soccer News!

It's been a month.

Time really flies. It's been a month since I've started blogging. During this period I've found out that everyone has their own purpose/reason of blogging. Some blog to influence, some blog to inform, some blog to advertise, some blog for money, some blog for personal interest, some blog to express themselves, some blog to share, some blog for the sake of blogging and so on. There's endless answers to why people blog, if u ask me.

Guruji says...

"Are u into medic or engineering?" said Guruji.
"No..I'm into advertising." I replied.
"What? Are u kidding me? U are suppose to be in medic to save people!" said Guruji (surprising tone).
"....but I like advertising..." I replied.
"U are suppose to save people with your hand (according to my birth date & name). Don't waste the 'gift' that God has given to u!" said Guruji.

I'm kinda 'stunned' by his answer. Well, i'm still sticking to advertising though. Being a doctor is just not my thing. I mean, there's plenty of ways of saving people and you don't have to be a doctor to save people rite?
After all this is my decision, my life.

Hail the King of England & Europe!!

It's been the most dramatic EPL(English Premier League) season in these recent years. The title chase in EPL are so intense as Man U and Chealsea had the same point(1 match left) with only goal difference. Thanks to the greatest team Sir Alex had build with the likes of Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Carrick, Park Ji Sung, Owen Hargreaves and etc. They are definitely going to be bring more success to the club by winning more trophy in the future.

"Value for money!" That's what they said to those Man U fans who went to Moscow for the final showdown(EUFA Champions League) , as they get to watch both sides played Full time + Extra time + Penalty shootout(not for the faint-hearted)..haha. Chelsea had a few chances during second half and extra time but luck was by Man U's side that night.

How fair is this?

Went to USJ9 for another 'promotional work' (for Orenhaus) this afternoon. It was prayer time, so we went straight to the Al-Falahk mosque to give out brochures. Everything went very smoothly until i discovered that peoples literally 'Triple' park their cars at the side of the road (non-parking zone outside the mosque). It was a 4 lane road and they 'occupied' 3 lane! There was a policeman near the mosque but he didn't do anything! Where are those summon tickets??

Can someone please tell me how fair is this? Can we 'triple' park our cars outside the temples or churches? i'm a little upset by this actually...

'triple' park the whole stretch!

Kinda annoyed by this incident cuz got quite a few summon tickets in pj (mostly near Utar).

Marié Digby live in 1U

Marié Digby

The time's showing 4.30pm, Wai huan and i was somewhere around 1 Utama chilling out. A familiar voice,Marié Digby's voice rang through my ears. We headed to 1U Highstreet (ground floor). The stage & sound system were all set up
and Marié Digby was up there rehearsing. We managed to be at the 1st row cuz there's not much crowd at the moment. She's much much hotter in person and I manage to take some pic with my crappy k800 but can't get a closer shot.

rehearsal

After the rehearsal, we went lepak and had our dinner at 'Wong Kok'. By time we went back there, the crowd were just unbelievable. We can only get a small glimpse of her from the far end.

'Wondermum'

to our wonderful mother

Brought two puppies(from my cousin in Karak) back home during mother's day as a gift to my mum and dad. We're(the 4 brothers) all out station and seldom at home to accompany my parents. I'm pretty sure they are quite bored without us 'destroying the tranquility' back at home. Hopefully the two pups will entertain both my mum and dad.

There's a problem though, 'Lucky' wasn't very pleased with the newcomers intruding her territory. Hopefully after a few days of 'socializing' everything will turn out ok..hehe (keeping my fingers crossed although it never happen before)

'Lucky'

Post effect of rock climbing

'Arghh....' my first reaction when i open my eyes this morning. I can feel my whole upper body aching from the post effect of 'intensive' rock climbing yesterday. Don't feel like waking up but still i drag my aching body out of the bed to get ready to work. Business hours of Orenhaus starts at 10am sharp. Took my time doing my daily routine (brush teeth, wash face, take bath n etc). Reach work place in time feeling so weak.

Then i found out the 'Good News' of the day. There's no heavy lifting and assembling of any furniture, just some 'promotional' work. Promotional work sound quite easy rite? There's a catch to it, which is to give out brochures in Subang Jaya area and putting up bunting in Kota Kemuning area. That also means lots of walking will be required, and i mean 'A LOT' cuz gotta go from car to car and people to people sometimes...

Basically, i've fully 'worked out' my upper body and lower body in these two days. Already feeling more muscular...hehe.

The Summit

The Summit USJ

I'm pretty sure that lots of us have heard about Summit USJ, but never been there before. Been to Summit USJ for the first time with my course mates today. To be honest, the interior layout and maintenance are quite different from my 1st impression of Summit USJ. It looks quite grand from the outside but it's just an 'empty shell'. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary i suppose, but i can't see any sign of celebration except the 'empty' stage in the building. Everything inside looks so old & kinda outdated. Can easily get lost in there too.

Anyway, the reason we went there is just to go to the
indoor rock climbing gym (cheaper than Camp5 in 1 Utama). Everyone are so anxious to get their first 'climb' on the wall. Before the instructor even brief us about all the safety rules and equipment usage, the guys had already tried climbing boulder wall. After the briefing, we've got unlimited time to climb as much as we could. Since it's the first time for most of us, so we tried some of the boulder wall which are supposedly for beginner level. Time flies so fast that we didn't notice that we're there for 4 hours. Everyone are so exhausted and hungry so we settled for some malay food in Summit (can't remember the shop name) which claims to have the best asam laksa from Mid Valley. The food turns out to be not as tasty as expected once again.

The time's showing 7.10pm when we finish our dinner. Suppose to go back but we stayed for a movie '
Iron Man' because of the usual massive jam in Subang Jaya during peak hour. 1 word for 'Iron Man'...Superb. Go watch it if u haven't already!

The Iron Man

Burger Queen? Burger B!@#%?

The 'Whooper Freakout' (in the US) are just brilliant!! People are craving for Whooper and they just come up with this...

I'm thinking, what will happen if Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) stop selling their 'original recipe fried chicken'. hehe...

Target audience identified!

Outdoor ad for Afinity Petcare
Advertising Agency: Leo Burnett, Frankfurt

Came across a rather interesting outdoor ad. Personally, i think it's a very well executed idea. Afinity Petcare placed their poster within the reach of their target audience (dogs). The product is hidden behind the poster with small holes which enable the smells to waft through it. Passing dogs will react to the poster by sniffing the picture of dog food.
